Wellesley is an 86-acre rising community in the Town of Lexington. It is strategically located just off of I-20 and Hwy 378 and in award-winning Lexington School District One, one of the two leading school districts in the state. Oak Grove Elementary is within miles of Wellesley's main entrance; Lexington Middle is within six miles; and Lexington High is within eleven miles.

Arrival into the community will be announced by a signature entrance, a heavily landscaped entrance boulevard with a roundabout. Additionally, each neighborhood will be distinguished by an entrance feature with appropriate signage and lighting. Designed with the family in mind, Wellesley will feature a large multi-purpose swimming pool, a summer kitchen, an Adventure PlayLand,SM and an activity field. The community will contain approximately 336 homesites. Shumaker Homes has started construction in a single-family neighborhood within the community, with homes ranging from the $150’s to the $190’s. During 2008, Hurricane Construction will be building homes in a second single-family neighborhood from the $130’s.

As typical of all LandTech communities, Wellesley will be developed in a carefully planned and architecturally controlled manner. Each neighborhood will have its own architectural guidelines to ensure harmony within each community. To further protect and enhance the value of the community and to further distinguish it from other neighborhoods within the area, all homesites will feature street and yard trees, front and side yard landscaping and irrigation, uniform street lightning, mail boxes and community signage.
