Development Manager

Michael joined LandTech in 2025 as a Development Manager after more than seven years in homebuilding and land development management. He began his career with Essex Homes as an assistant superintendent and later superintendent before moving to Stanley Martin Homes, where he advanced from neighborhood construction manager to land development manager. In those roles, Michael oversaw site development and construction operations across multiple residential communities, coordinating with contractors, builders, and municipalities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

At LandTech, Michael leverages his experience in construction management and land development to direct community build-out, manage development schedules and costs, and support the company’s commitment to building high-quality residential communities. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education–Mathematics from the College of Charleston and a Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine. A former NCAA Division I baseball player at the College of Charleston, he earned multiple academic and athletic honors, including all-conference recognition, and later coached Summerville High School to the 2016 SCHSL 4A Baseball State Championship.
